Account Executive – SaaS (Transportation Tech)

Overview:

We have partnered with a rapidly growing SaaS company transforming the transportation and logistics industry. As our client expands into the U.S. market, they are building a high-performing sales team to help drive that growth—and they’re looking for a seasoned Account Executive to join them.

About the Role:

As an Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for owning and closing new business opportunities with mid-market to enterprise clients. You’ll work closely with key decision-makers in the transportation space, navigating complex organizations and leveraging a consultative sales approach to position our platform as the solution of choice. You’ll report directly to sales leadership and play a key role in shaping our U.S. go-to-market strategy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for deals ranging from $50K to $100K in ARR
  • Navigate complex sales cycles (6+ months) with multiple stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Leverage relationship-based and consultative selling techniques to build trust and long-term value
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure smooth handoffs and client satisfaction
  • Provide feedback to marketing and product teams to help refine messaging and positioning
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM
  • Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and key client meetings as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5–10 years of experience in SaaS sales, with a consistent track record of closing mid-to-large deals
  • Proven success managing deal sizes in the $50K–$100K range with 6+ month sales cycles
  • Strong sales acumen and the ability to navigate complex organizations with multiple stakeholders
  • Deep experience with relationship selling and building long-term value for clients
  • Comfortable in a fast-growing, scaling environment with evolving processes
  • Based in the Greater Boston Area and available for occasional in-person meetings and events
  • Transportation industry experience is a plus, but not required
